The North Dakota EMS Association and the ND EMS Quality Improvement Program steering committee is seeking a Project Manager for the EMS Supplement QI project.

Project Manager (1 position)
- Full-time (40 hours weekly) position with a salary range of $55,000-$65,000 DOE
- Fringe benefit position
- Travel and per diem expenses reimbursed at current state rate
- Office location in Bismarck, ND with the opportunity to work remotely
Project Manager Candidate must have knowledge of:
- Principles and practices of pre-hospital and emergency medicine
- Medical terminology, experience, and working knowledge of environment
- Adult learning concepts and group teaching principles
- Effective customer service techniques
- Microsoft Word, Share Point, Excel and Power Point
Project Manager Candidate must have ability to:
- Establish and maintain positive working relationships with all parties in the supplement project
- Plan, organize and prioritize work
- Confront conflict in a positive issue oriented format and pursue collaboration to resolve conflict
- Conduct research, analyze data and make recommendations
- Prepare and present clear and concise oral and written reports and recommendations
- Learn and use the electronic patient care reporting systems
Project Manager Candidate must have skill in:
- Leadership, management and supervision techniques
- Using a personal computer and applicable software applications
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- Public speaking and presentation
- Preparing and maintaining various reports, records and budget
Education, Training and Experience Desired for the Project Manager Position:
- Graduation from an accredited college or university with an Associate’s Degree (Bachelor’s Degree preferred) in Business or Public Administration, Nursing, Education or closely related field.
- Three years’ of recent, paid work experience performing emergency medical services duties, or serving as a quality improvement coordinator (or equivalent) with an EMS agency, or in project management.
- Possession of a valid North Dakota Class D driver license.
