 This course will serve as an introduction to the field of wilderness medicine and cover topics such as prioritizing and improvising treatments, wilderness specific injuries and illnesses, and assembling a wilderness survival kit.  Students should dress in weather appropriate layers, bring their own water, snacks, and lunch, and be prepared to move from indoor to outdoor venues. Students should dress in weather appropriate layers, bring their own water, and be prepared to move from indoor to outdoor venues.
