The NDEMSA SE Directors are pleased to announce its 2016 Annual Southeast Region EMS Conference held in Jamestown, January 30-31 st. The conference will begin on Friday this year with Jamestown Ambulance "What to do when you don't know what to do!!" (7:00pm- 9:00 pm) followed by the sessions over the weekend at the Quality Inn & Suites. This years topics include:
On Saturday: What's in my Patient, Chest Pain, Affective Care, Train Derailment, Don't Get Burned, Endocrine, Capnography, and Cowboy Up & Die.
On Saturday night, there will be a SIM truck challenge from 6 to 8 for ALS and BLS. Teams will compete in 10 minutes scenarios. The participants will be judged on teamwork, patient outcome, and communication. The winning team will receive a traveling trophy and a chance to compete at the EMS Rendezvous Conference in 2016. The SIM trucks will also be around Saturday and Sunday and two educational topics will be available.
For Sunday: Pediatric Crisis, CNS Injury, Confidence & Competency, Roles of Research, Pediatric Transport, Immunological, PTSD, Tourniquets, Communicable Diseases, and What's New at the DEMST.
